Suitable for all ages
During the night, the lenses fitted to your eyes with artificial tears exert pressure on the surface of the eye, the cornea.
This pressure acts on the eye's epithelial cells, located on the first layer of the cornea. Let's imagine this epithelial layer as a bag filled with tiny beads. The hydrodynamic pressure of the artificial tears between the lens and the cornea will displace these tiny cells, modifying their curvature.
As with the laser principle, this subtle change in curvature enables visual defects to be corrected.
Over the course of the day, these cells will gently return to their original position. That's why you need to repeat the procedure every night.
How do night lenses work?

Step 1
Come for a quick examination
During a quick visit lasting about 15 minutes, our ophthalmologists will perform precise scans of your cornea to determine eligibility and the best treatment plan.

Step 2
Our optometrists create your 3D treatment plan
Using 3D simulation software, your individual treatment plan will show us step by step how your visual acuity will improve and what the expected result will look like.

Step 3
We send your lenses to your home
Every night, before going to bed, put in your lenses and wake up with clear vision. Night lenses last about 12 months, and we assess your progress at a free annual check-up.

Orthokeratology, or night lenses, are suitable for people with mild to moderate myopia who wish to reduce their dependence on glasses or contact lenses during the day. These lenses are particularly beneficial for children and young adults, as they can help slow the progression of myopia. They are also a good option for people who lead active lifestyles, or who are unable to wear ordinary contact lenses because of dryness or discomfort.
Orthokeratology lenses can correct mild to moderate myopia (nearsightedness) from -0.50 to -5.00 diopters and astigmatism up to -1.50 diopters. They can also correct slight hyperopia (presbyopia) between +0.25 and +4.00 diopters. However, effectiveness can vary according to the individual characteristics of the eye and the degree of refractive error.
Children and teenagers can benefit from orthokeratology because it helps slow the progression of myopia, a condition that tends to worsen as they grow. By wearing the lenses overnight, they can achieve clear vision throughout the day without the need for glasses or contact lenses, improving comfort and ease of use. What's more, orthokeratology has been shown to reduce the risk of developing more serious myopia-related eye pathologies later in life, making it an attractive option for young people with increasing myopia.

Orthokeratology
In all our years of experience in laser vision correction, we've come into contact with a multitude of people, each with their own special characteristics.
This expertise has naturally led us to explore alternative solutions to meet the varied needs of our patients: some are not ready for laser surgery, others are inoperable because of their corneal anomaly, or simply still too young for the laser.
Often abbreviated to “Ortho-k”, this method involves wearing special rigid lenses, worn only at night. Able to correct all defects - presbyopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and myopia - this corneal refractive therapy will enable you to live daytime without glasses or contacts.
However, this procedure has its limitations, depending on your correction. An examination and adaptation are required to determine whether this treatment is right for you.
